Hi there!
I’m Jessica Frederick, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified NSI Practitioner providing therapy in Colorado and New York.
I believe that healing begins in a safe, supportive connection — a place where your story can unfold without judgment or expectation. In our work together, you’ll find a compassionate space to explore what hurts, rediscover your strengths, and move toward lasting peace and self-understanding.
Over the years, I’ve worked in family medicine, psychiatric care, and substance use treatment, helping individuals and families navigate grief, loss, trauma, and life transitions. These experiences led me to create The Way Through, LLC — a private therapy practice designed to honor the depth of grief and guide people toward healing and growth.
My approach is collaborative, empathetic, and personalized. I tailor each session to meet your unique needs, whether you’re coping with grief and loss, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, or emotional overwhelm.
If you’re looking for a grief therapist, anxiety therapist, or online counseling in Colorado or New York, I’m here to help you find your way through.
You don’t have to navigate this alone — reach out today to schedule a free consultation and take the first step toward healing.
Certified Neurosomatic Intelligence (NSI) Practitioner
As a certified Neurosomatic Intelligence (NSI) Practitioner, I take a brain-based approach that integrates the connection between the nervous system, body, and emotional health. NSI work focuses on helping individuals understand how their unique nervous system responds to stress, loss, and change — and how we can gently retrain it toward safety, resilience, and regulation.
In our sessions, I will incorporate NSI principles to help you build awareness of your body’s cues and responses. Through grounding techniques, gentle nervous system regulation tools, and somatic awareness practices, we work together to restore a sense of calm and stability.
This approach complements talk therapy by not only addressing thoughts and emotions, but also helping your body feel safe enough to heal.
My Christian faith plays an important role in my life and the way I view healing and hope. For clients who wish to integrate their spirituality into the counseling process, I offer faith-based support that weaves together psychological insight with the comfort and guidance of Christian principles. This approach allows space for prayer, Scripture, and spiritual reflection when desired, helping clients find strength and peace through both faith and therapeutic growth.
My Faith
Outside of the therapy room, I find peace in nature, spending time with my husband and our dog. I believe deeply in the quiet power of everyday moments — the kind that remind us life, even in its hardest seasons, can still hold beauty.
